Lamboo Installation 

Artist Statement

Singing and Dancing Lamboo Lamp - With the design of this product using a new material Lamboo (laminated bamboo), I want to enhance the interaction and sensual experience between humans and material by sound, light, movement, and touch. It was designed in the shape of a musical instrument, giving its users a desire to touch it, feel it and play it thus create sound. The sound activates the switch which turns on or off the lights inside. Touching the product generates movement, so the casting shadows move in a synchronized motion like a dance.
